Almond farm near Ladismith This farm has one of the best water sources you could get. There is a water turn every 14 days for 72 hours from the one source, coming from the Swartberg Mountains, a water turn every 7 days for 36 hours from the other source also coming from the Swartberg Mountains, stored in 5 different earth dams. About 50% of the irrigation is through gravity fed.There is also a borehole with excellent quality water, which delivered 27 000 liters per hour, but needs to be drilled open again.
